Makeup ideas to get perfect look everyday!

Achieving the perfect makeup doesn’t need to be complicated or time-consuming. Thanks to these handy makeup ideas you’ll never have to feel frustrated in front of the mirror again.

So these are Top 10 Makeup Ideas (Tips and Tricks) for all the makeup enthusiasts out there: –

Makeup ideas to get perfect look everyday

1. Refresh your clumpy mascara

Word of advice: a tube of mascara should only be used for three months at the most. Beyond that, it can collect bacteria, resulting in eye infections and other unpleasant outcomes that you don’t want to look up on Google Images. However, if your favourite tube of mascara is starting to get clumpy and irritatingly dries up within the first three months, add a few drops of saline solution to your brush and swirl it around – this will provide moisture to the mascara’s formula and extend its shelf life.

2. Curl eyelashes more than once

Don’t make the frequent error of only pressing down once with your eyelash curler if you want long, thick lashes. Pulse a few times up the entire length of your lashes for the most natural-looking curl

3. Highlight your cupid’s bow

Highlighter attracts attention to specific areas of your face, making them appear larger — and you can apply this same idea to your lips to make them appear fuller. Simply dab some highlighter on the cupid’s bow of your lips after applying lipstick, and you’ll see the difference right away.

4. Use lip liner to create the illusion of fuller lips

Lip liner doesn’t just keep your lipstick in place — if you draw just over the natural lines of your lips, you can make your pout appear larger. Use lip liner to fill in your lips in the same colour as your lipstick for the longest-lasting coverage. You can also overline lips this way.”

5. Set lipstick with translucent powder

This old-school hack has been around since your grandma’s generation. And for good reason — it works. Apply your favourite lipstick as you normally would. After, place a tissue on your lips, and apply translucent powder over the tissue onto your lips. You’ll be left with a matte pout that will stay put all night.

6. Don’t test the foundation on your wrists

While it’s certainly easier to swipe some foundation or concealer on your inner arm to see if it matches your skin tone at the store, it’s not that accurate. Colour test foundation and concealer on your face or neck, not your arm or hand. Your hand is likely a different colour from your face, so this is the only way to get an accurate colour match!

7. Powder your lashes

The key to fluffier and fuller lashes? A little translucent powder. After your first coat of mascara, dust your lashes with a gentle coat of loose powder — this will add volume to your eyelashes by making them look thicker. Add a second coat of mascara to cover the dustiness, and you’ll see the difference for yourself.

8. Crazy About Cat Eyes

We’re giving you some simple eye makeup hacks. Step 1: Take a bobby pin (the kinds you use for those darling hairdos). Step 2: Apply liquid eyeliner on the edge of the pin. Step 3: Press it onto your eyelid. Step 4: Color inside the shape and draw the rest of the line. Step 5: Strut that stuff, girl!

Or

Use a spoon as a stencil for winged liner grab a spoon and use it as a stencil. Holding the stem of a spoon against the outer corner of your eye, use a liquid eyeliner to draw a straight line as the first step for your cat-eye. Then, flip the spoon so it’s hugging your eyelid, and use the rounded outer edge to create a perfectly curved winged effect.

9. Eyelashes On Fleek

Want those flutter-worthy lashes but somehow always get mascara on your eyelids? You’re not alone. Hold a clean spoon like it’s hugging your eyelid and apply your mascara. You’ll get all the excess mascara on the back of the spoon and not your eyelid. Now bat those eyelids and smile.

10. Heat your eyelash curler with a hairdryer

DIY your own heated lash curler by blowing hot air on your eyelash curler. The added heat will help your lashes curl faster and keep the shape for longer. Just hit your lash curler with a blow dryer until it heats up, wait until it cools slightly but is still warm (test it on the inside of your arm so you don’t burn your eyelid), then clamp down on your lashes to curl them.

Hope you found these hacks helpful and will make your makeup routine more fun and easy.
